Who are you?
My name is Maria Gustavsson and I run the design studio Swedish Ninja (for 10 years), where I work as a freelance designer. I live in Denmark with my husband and our 2 children.

What is your background?
I have a degree as an engineer at Karlstad University. And I also took a Master in Industrial Design at Queensland Collage of Art University, Brisbane Australia.

How did you get in contact with Wobedo Design?
I sat on the same floor as Christel Månsson at Minc - Malmö Incubator Centre. Christel started Wobedo Design where she worked as a designer. (Minc is the hub for startups and contractors in southern Sweden.)

What were your thoughts with Town?
I saw the need for a creative and happy acoustic solution when I worked to decorate public environments. The idea is that Town is like a city's silhouettes. It creates an environment that we all can associate with, houses and buildings in different forms.

It is soothing because it builds horizons. It was important to me that both kids as adults would like their expressions. My hope is that everyone should be able to build their own dream horizon.

Your inspiration, where do you find it?
I find it in my garden, in which I am a lot and when I'm reading books. I also go to flea markets and look for exciting things.

What do you do when you're not work?
Of course I'm with my children. The family travels a lot, last time we went to Menorca. And I am in the garden of course.
